A beautiful Easter Service was delivered by Reverend Fry at St John's Church this morning for year 8s and 9s with hymns, prayers, and visual representations of the stages of the Easter story. Students behaved impeccably and were a credit to the school. pic.twitter.com/41C6OJyYtP

Year 11 & 13 students and parents were fortunate enough to participate in a 'psychology of learning' workshop, delivered by Dr van der Spoel, to maximise revision ahead of exams. Year 12 students also inspired Year 11s with a brilliant revision strategy market. pic.twitter.com/vMqf5kI45x

Dear Parents/Carers

Show My Homework

All homework set at Epping St Johns is posted on ‘Show My Homework’ and can be accessed by students and their parents via the website or through the app. The majority of students and parents have now logged on and are using SMH regularly. Parents who have lost their pin codes can email me directly for a copy (VanDerLithN@bmatesj.org.uk) – see an explanation of what a PIN code is below. Any student who is having trouble logging in can ask any of their teachers who all have access to the PIN codes or can find me at break or lunchtime for assistance. Please note that not being able to log in will not prevent your child being able to see the work set for them (see below for details).

What are PINs?

PINs are unique codes Show My Homework has assigned to each student and parent that allows us to confirm your identity on initial login. After logging in for the first time users you will be asked to provide more memorable login details for future use.

PINs can be used as a backup in case you forget your log in details, you can use the pin again to reset your password, if you forget the email, username or password you used.

Show My Homework is accessible from the Parents and Students drop down menus at the top of this website, or you can visit and enter your PIN.

Visit Show My Homework

Create a memorable password and enter your email address if you have one or select I do not have an email address then click ‘Update details’. Please keep your password and PIN as private.

On a computer you do not necessarily have to log in, you can see all homework set across the entire school by clicking on Calendar and selecting from the drop down menus, year, subject, teacher or class group.

Get homework information on the move by downloading the free app on Android or iOS device. Just search 'Show My Homework in the app store for your device.

NB. Please keep the app up to date on your devices as the updates ensure include bug fixes and performance improvements. This is particularly important if you have recently found that homework is not being displayed on your Show My Homework To Do List. We contacted SMH and the advice given was that the App must be at the latest version.

If you experience any issues with the Show My Homework website or app, please refer to the Show My Homework help centre at the bottom of their website.

Thank you and do not hesitate me if you have any further questions about Show My Homework.
