Year 6 Induction Day – Friday 28th June.
Induction Day will take place between 8.45am and 2pm and is designed to give our new students experience of a ‘day in the life’ at Epping St John’s. Parent/Carers should drop their child/children off in the bus loop (the turning circle as you enter the school site) after 8.35am. Please do not arrive before 8.35am as school buses will still be dropping current students off and the school site cannot safely accommodate the additional traffic. We would ask that Parents/Carers do not accompany their children in to the school building; staff and Student Leaders will be on duty to meet your child and accompany them in to school. Students will be dismissed at 2pm from the playground at the rear of the school. Parking will be on the MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), which can be found by turning left through the main school gates, and continuing to the rear of the school; staff will be here to assist with parking. There should be no parking in the bus loop at this time. Students will only be dismissed after Parents/Carers have made themselves known to the person supervising their group. Students should wear their current primary school uniform and bring a pair of trainers for PE as well as a bottle of water and a healthy snack. Lunch will be provided by the school; the provisional menu is fish fingers/sausage, beans and chips. A vegetarian option will be available if required, this must be ordered by Wednesday 19th June 2019 please email admin@bmatesj.org. Alternatively, your child can also bring packed lunch; please email lightens@bmatesj.org.uk by Wednesday 19th June 2019 so that we can adjust our school dinner order.
