Dear Parents/Carers,
Re: Children In Need and Anti-Bullying Week
As you may already know, Children in Need takes place on Friday November 15th 2019. Epping St. John’s is excited to be joining with many other schools around the UK to participate in the fundraising programme.
On Friday 15th November, students are invited to wear something spotty on their blazer or in their hair and donate £1 towards the cause. Correct school uniform is expected to be worn with the addition of a spotty item. We will also be taking part in spotty-themed fundraising activities during break and lunchtime: Activity |
Venue |
Bake sale and doughnut |
The Hub |
Spotty Face Painting |
The Activity Studio |
This is where we need your help!
You can help us make this a memorable event that raises as much money as possible, by sending your child in with some extra money to support the fundraising activities in our school. All of the events are taking place on Friday lunchtime. Let’s make a big difference to the lives of children in the UK.
In addition to this, we are asking students to wear odd socks on Friday in commemoration of anti-bullying week. Students have anti-bullying homework to complete, we would like them to raise awareness of anti-bullying through poster design. This will be set on SMHW by your child’s head of year.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours faithfully,
E Ewome
