Results Day Year 11, Thursday 22nd August - please click here

Dear Parents/Carers

Year 11 GCSE Examination Results – Thursday 22nd August 2019

I am pleased to confirm the arrangements for the publication and collection of GCSE examination results this summer.

GCSE results are published and released to students on GCSE results day, which this year falls on Thursday 22nd August 2019.

There are three options available for students to receive their results:

1. Students can collect results in person on Thursday 22nd August from 8am, in the Main Hall. Students must enter the school building via the main school reception doors, and into the main school hall.

2. Students can nominate a named adult to collect results on their behalf. In order to exercise this option, students need to provide Mrs Hudgell (Examinations Officer) with a signed consent letter from them confirming the name of the nominated adult who will be collecting the results on their behalf. Any requests must be delivered to Mrs Hudgell before the end of the summer term.

3. Students can request to have their results posted home. In order to exercise this option, students need to provide Mrs Hudgell with a signed consent letter from themselves. In addition, they must provide a ‘large letter‘, stamped and addressed A4 envelope. Any letters requesting this (along with stamped, addressed envelopes) must be delivered to Mrs Hudgell before the end of term. Please note that results are likely to take several days to arrive in the postal system after the results day.

Please note that the procedures detailed above are necessary for the school to comply with data protection and examination authority regulations.

Please note that we cannot give out any results to anyone over the phone, by email, or to any other party not nominated by the students themselves.

If you have any further questions or queries regarding the above detailed arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours Faithfully,

Ewome
